In general, our thread lift procedures taking about 60 – 90 minutes. The patient will be given a local anesthetic and will likely not feel any discomfort or pain. Patient comfort is a paramount concern for us, so we do everything possible to ensure that patients are well taken care of.

Our Doctor will then determine the best sites to insert the “thread” in order to achieve the desired final result. Next, Our Doctor will begin the process of inserting the threads. The specifics of this will depend on the desired final result and the Thread Lift product employed (such as Double Fix or Aptos).

This process is repeated several times in the targeted area, in order to create the desired shape and lift, again varying due to the Thread Lift product employed. In general, the entire process takes less than 30 minutes, allowing patients to resume their normal activities in short order.

ARE THREADS LIFT SAFE TO USE IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER AESTHETIC TREATMENTS?

Absolutely!  Other non invasive therapies such as fillers, collagen, prp, lasers and neurotoxins are great adjunct therapies that work well with PDO threads.  It is important to know what Our Doctor to do first and how long to wait in between treatments, to allow each product to work to its full potential and for the optimal aesthetic outcome.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER A THREAD LIFT AT LUMINA AESTHETICS CLINIC BALI

Recovery after a successful thread lift is quite minimal. While there may be some visible swelling and bruising, you can go back to work right away if you’d like, as we mentioned as above.

Results should be apparent right after the threads are put into place, but you may notice more in the days and weeks right after they are inserted, as swelling and bruising starts to subside.

Results from a thread lift aren’t meant to be permanent. Successful effects typically last from 1 to 3 years. Like other dissolvable dermal fillers, such as Botox, the threads used in the procedure will eventually be absorbed by the tissue underneath your skin.

After a thread lift, you can resume your normal routine. After thread lift procedure, we advise you not to rub your face vigorously and to avoid sleeping on your side in the initial weeks following the procedure.

Our doctor will advises that you skip your daily moisturizer for the first few weeks after a thread lift, and sleep with your head propped up to avoid rolling over onto the newly placed sutures, and avoid saunas and high intensity workouts for the first week or so after the thread lift is performed.
